Five African tech startups, will be joining contestants from around the world, for Seedstars World Startup Competition. The run up to the finals in Geneva, had a world cup style selection process. Each finalist had to compete in a regional competition in order to qualify. The competition focuses on startup activity in emerging markets, so on February 4th, the African finalists will be joined by contestants from South America, the middle east and Asia. Seedstars World was created by a Swiss based venture capital firm seedstars SA.
