8 Tech Startups present at HBS African Business Conference

Posted by smileandmobile on March 3, 2014 in African Tech | 165 Views

Smile and Mobile was on the Scene at the prestigious Harvard University over the past weekend.  As usual, it was a very well organized affair.  Entrepreneurs, Investors, Engineers, lawyers, Africans and non Africans descended on the Cambridge Campus for a weekend of networking and inspiration.  Naturally, since Smile and Mobile is the one stop shop for all things in African Tech, we spent most of the time tracking down African tech Entrepreneurs.  I got what I wanted when I visited the New Ventures Competition.  In this competition 8 startups presented their idea to the audience and 3 judges.  Very much like many of the African startups we have covered in the past, the new ventures competition comprised of mostly tech companies. Further proof that Africas tech IQ is accelerating at a rapid pace.  Enjoy the startup pitches below…..Stay Mobile!
