If you own or run a website or blog, you would probably understand the importance of good statistics. Whether you use Google Analytics or some other blogging software like WordPress or Blogger, understanding your statistics is essential to growing your online presence. Since its inception, Twitter has become the ultimate marketing tool. If you want to promote your business or even just promote yourself, Twitter can help you do it. In the past, the benchmark to understand your Twitter power always depended on how many followers you got. This was good, but did nothing to help you analyze your tweets in order to refocus your marketing strategy.
Well all that has finally changed as twitter has opened up its Analytics dashboard to all users.
If you have a twitter account you can access your Analytics dashboard by going to http://analytics.twitter.com.
With this new dashboard you have access to the following tweet statistics:
Impressions: The number of times users saw the tweet on twitter. This is an especially good feature. Some people send out hundreds of tweets a day, but if nobody saw them you have just wasted your time!
Engagement: The number of times a user has interacted with one of your tweets (Clicks on the tweet, favorites, follows, retweets etc)
Engagement rate: engagements per impression

Use this new tool well, and you should be able to grow your twitter presence. Do the maths, greater twitter exposure = greater Business Exposure’…………….Stay Mobile!
