social media in order to help people and organizations connect through
collaboration, learning and the sharing of ideas and information.
In its seventh year, the Social Media Week Lagos 2019 theme: “STORIES: With Great Influence Comes Great Responsibility” will explore the power in the stories we tell, and how as content creators, policymakers, brands, journalists and citizens we can influence our community, customers, audience and constituents for the greater good.
February 4-9, 2019, #SMWLagos will be held at Landmark Centre, a
state-of-the-art event space in Victoria Island, Lagos and will feature
more than 400 speakers, 200 panels, discussions, meetups, masterclasses,
digital installations, experiential talks and networking sessions
exploring a wide range of topics including business, entertainment,
education, technology and politics.
#SMWLagos has the
largest attendance and online social media reach of all of the Social
Media Week events around the world and is the largest black-led tech
conference on the globe with the majority of presenters and attendees
