Quarterback Russell Wilson, this year’s highest-paid NFL player, is paying it forward.
In a letter obtained by TMZ, Wilson thanked his team members for protecting him on the field and credited them with helping to make him successful.
“I would not be where I am today without you working to be great day in and day out,” Wilson wrote. “You sacrifice your physical and mental well-being to protect me, which in turn allows me to provide and care for my family. This does not go on noticed and it is never forgotten. Now it is my turn to return the favor.”
