A Memphis high school senior Tupac Mosley was dealing with a lot of life stressors, besides school. His father had just died and Mosley found himself evicted, homeless, and at one point living in a tent. Yet Mosley maintained a 4.3 GPA, scored a 31 on his ACT, and was even named valedictorian.
And he earned more than 50 college scholarships worth more than $3 million. But even as he selected to attend Tennessee State University on scholarship, Mosley still had a lot of obstacles. For one, how would he afford housing?
His immediate worries are over it seems.
“That is because the president of the college drove all the way from Nashville to give him the surprise of a lifetime,” Fox 13 News reported.
