Ben Carson has tested positive for Covid-19, according to ABC News. The U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development is the latest among the members of the Trump Administration who attended a watch party on election night at the White House.

“Secretary Carson has tested positive for the coronavirus. He is in good spirits and feels fortunate to have access to effective therapeutics which aid and markedly speed his recovery,” Carson’s chief of staff, Coalter Baker, told ABC News in a statement.

At least seven other members of Trump’s inner circle – including White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and six aides – have tested positive for coronavirus after attending the party, reported Business Insider.
