Though historians have noted for years the FBI was involved in the assassination of Black Panther Party (BPP) leader Fred Hampton, a newly released FBI file further suggests J. Edgar Hoover was involved in Hampton’s murder.
Attorneys Flint Taylor and Jeff Haas were the lead lawyers in the landmark civil rights case for the families of Hampton, fellow Black Panther Mark Clark (who was also killed in the 1969 raid that claimed Hampton’s life) and the seven other survivors.
