Newly Released FBI File Suggests J. Edgar Hoover Was Involved In Fred Hampton’s Murder. Though historians have noted for years the FBI was involved in the assassination of Black Panther Party (BPP) leader Fred Hampton, a newly released FBI file further suggests J. Edgar Hoover was involved in Hampton’s murder.

Attorneys Flint Taylor and Jeff Haas were the lead lawyers in the landmark civil rights case for the families of Hampton, fellow Black Panther Mark Clark (who was also killed in the 1969 raid that claimed Hampton’s life) and the seven other survivors.

According to the attorneys, Roy Martin Mitchell was the control agent for William O’ Neal – the FBI informant who infiltrated the Panthers, got close to Hampton and supplied the FBI with in-depth knowledge, including a Click here to read entire article
